Nishkarsh Gupta MD, DNB, MNAMS, PGCCHM, Fellowship in Palliative Medicine. A distinguished alumnus of Maulana Azad Medical College and a gold medalist, is an Additional Professor in the Department of Onco-Anesthesiology and Palliative Medicine at Dr. BR Ambedkar Institute Rotary Cancer Hospital, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. He is the Chief Editor of the first South Asian edition of Barash’s Clinical Anesthesia and has authored four more books to his credit. He is Assistant Editor of Indian Journal of Anesthesia, Associate Editor of DY Patil Medical Journal, Section Editor of Indian Journal of Palliative care, and on Editorial Board panel of various journals. He has numerous national and international publications in more than 200 reputed journals. He received the Best Researcher Award in 2021 from ISA, Varanasi. He is an instructor of various skill-based training programs and has been faculty in several national and international conferences. She is an alumnus of Lady Hardinge Medical College, New Delhi, with teaching experience at apex institutions like Safdarjung Hospital, Maulana Azad Medical College, and specialized onco- and pediatric autonomous teaching centers in New Delhi. She has been a faculty at various national and international elite platforms during the last 12 years. She has authored three books and co-edited the first South Asian edition of Barash’s Clinical Anesthesia. She is an avid researcher and has to her credit more than 125 publications in reputed national and international journals. She is an Assistant Editor of Journal of Anesthesiology and Clinical Pharmacology, Associate Editor of Frontiers in Pediatrics and on Editorial Board of Indian Journal of Anesthesia and several other prestigious journals. She is the recipient of several awards including Padmakant Award and Chandrasekaran Award for Pediatric Anesthesia.
